Regular Season Round 4: Kraljevo - Ragusa 66-44

Bottom-ranked Croatian Ragusa (0-4) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 66-44 loss to tenth ranked Serbian ZKK Kraljevo (2-2) in Kraljevo. They held Ragusa to an opponent 21.7 percent shooting from the field compared to 31.8 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Ragusa 55-37 including a 40-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by American power forward BraShey Ali (185-92, college: Thomas Univ., agency: PEPI SPORT) who scored that evening 8 points and 17 rebounds and Dragana Nikolic (189-95, agency: BeoBasket) supported her with 17 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from downtown making all five shots). Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 15 points and 5 rebounds by forward Josipa Zovko (186-90) did not help to save the game for Ragusa. Center Ana Tomicic (190-95) added 9 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. ZKK Kraljevo maintains tenth position in B with 2-2 record. Ragusa at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. ZKK Kraljevo's next round opponent will be higher ranked Partizan (#9) in Beograd and it may be quite challenging game. Ragusa will play at home against Montana 2003 and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
