Regular Season Round 3: Union SF - Libertad S. 63-81

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Santa Fe where Libertad Sunchales (1-0) beat Union SF (1-1) 81-63 on Wednesday. Libertad Sunchales looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for swingman Bruno Barovero (194-90) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. Ernesto Zago helped adding 19 points and 8 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American forward John Dickson (198-90, college: Sacramento St.) with 15 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Gaston Torres (184-85) scored 9 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Libertad Sunchales will face Ameghino in Villa Maria in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Union SF will play at home against Barrio Parque and hope to win that game.
