An interesting game for Saigon Heat (8-5) which played road game in Can Tho against second-ranked Can Tho CF (8-6). Second ranked Saigon Heat managed to get a 5-point victory 85-80. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Saigon Heat made 19-of-23 charity shots (82.6 percent) during the game. They also forced 29 Can Tho CF turnovers. American David Arnold (188, college: Mont.St.-Billings) scored 43 points (!!!), 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import center Darius Lewis (211-94, college: Duquesne) chipped in 15 points and 23 rebounds during the contest. American power forward DeAngelo Hamilton (203-90, college: Washington St., agency: Inception Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 20 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 blocks and Dinh Thanh produced a double-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Saigon Heat maintains second position with 8-5 record having just two points less than leader Thang Long W. Can Tho CF at the other side dropped to the third place with six games lost. Saigon Heat will play against bottom-ranked Danang Dragons (#6) on the road in the next round. Can Tho CF will play against Hochiminh CW and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
