Regular Season Round 3: Ramat Hasharon - Elitzur Holon 68-74

The biggest surprise of round 3 was guest Elitzur Holon's (2-1) road victory over Ramat Hasharon (#6) 74-68 on Thursday evening. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 20-12. But Ramat Hasharon won second period 22-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was American swingman Crystal Bradford (183-93, college: Cent.Michigan, agency: LBM Management) who had a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds. Her fellow American import point guard Saniya Chong (173-94, college: Connecticut) chipped in 22 points. Four Elitzur Holon players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Shae Kelley (185-91, college: Minnesota) who recorded a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds and guard Eden Rotberg (167-98, agency: Blue and White) added 17 points respectively. Elitzur Holon are looking forward to face Maccabi Ashdod on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Ramat Hasharon will play against Elitzur Ramla (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
