The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 32-23. But UU-Korihait won second period 29-26. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Kauhajoki won last quarter 26-20. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Stephen Maxwell (201-93, college: CS Northridge, agency: Two Points) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). Bosnian guard Bojan Sarcevic (190-88) contributed with 24 points and 8 assists for the winners. Five Kauhajoki players scored in double figures. American forward Juan Pattillo (203-88, college: W.Kentucky) answered with 32 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import forward Sean OBrien (198-94, college: S.Illinois) added 20 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for UU-Korihait. Kauhajoki have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fifth place with 4-3 record. UU-Korihait at the other side keeps the seventh position with five games lost. Kauhajoki will play against Joensuun Kataja (#8) at home in the next round. UU-Korihait will have a break next round.
