Regular Season Round 6: Mark - Lulea Basket 62-96

Damligan top team - Lulea Basket (6-0) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed seventh ranked Mark (2-5) in Kinna 96-62. The game without a history. Lulea Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Mark's players. American guard Jessica Thomas (168-94, college: Miami, FL, agency: Two Points) scored 20 points and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international forward Anna Barthold (185-80, college: St.Peter's) chipped in 18 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Five Lulea Basket players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American power forward Alexis Hyder (180-94, college: LSU) with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and Argentinian-Italian forward Florencia Palacios (183-85) scored 19 points. Mark's coach Robin Sandberg gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Lulea Basket have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 6-0 record. Mark lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth place with five games lost. Lulea Basket are looking forward to face Alvik Basket (#4) in Stockholm in the next round. Mark will play on the road against the league's second-placed Udominate (#2) in Umea and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
