Important game to mention about took place in Tsukuba. Second ranked Fukushima (8-3) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 5th ranked Cyberdyne IR (5-6) 93-90 on Friday evening. Fukushima made 19-of-24 charity shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Nigerian center Solomon Alabi (216-88, college: Florida St.) had a double-double by scoring 28 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Deon Jones (198-93, college: Monmouth) chipped in 21 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American power forward Rick Rickert (211-83, college: Minnesota) responded with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds and guard Atsunobu Hirao (178-89) scored 24 points and 4 assists. Five Cyberdyne IR players scored in double figures. Cyberdyne IR's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Fukushima have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 8-3 record having just two points less than leader Shinshu BW. Cyberdyne IR at the other side keeps the fifth place with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
