Chorale de Roanne (3-0) crushed at home Aix-Maurienne (1-2) by 42 points 93-51, which is the biggest margin this round on Friday night. The game without a history. Chorale de Roanne led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Aix-Maurienne to just 5 points in fourth quarter. Chorale de Roanne dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Aix-Maurienne's 20. It was a great shooting night for Chorale de Roanne especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. Chorale de Roanne's coach Laurent Pluvy felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman Devin Sweetney (198-87, college: St.Francis, PA) who recorded 16 points and point guard Hugo Suhard (184-92) added 12 points respectively. Chorale de Roanne will meet at home Charleville-Mezieres (#16) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Aix-Maurienne will play against SPO Rouen (#18) and hope to win that game.
