Bottom-ranked Enea AZS P. (0-6) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 90-45 loss to second ranked Wisla Krakow (6-1) in Poznan. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. The game without a history. Wisla Krakow led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Enea AZS P. to just 7 points in fourth quarter. Wisla Krakow dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Enea AZS P.'s 20. Wisla Krakow forced 19 Enea AZS P. turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Enea AZS P.'s players. 24 personal fouls committed by Enea AZS P. helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American forward Sidney Cook (186-94, college: Virginia Tech) came up with 13 points and 8 rebounds and Ukrainian forward Kateryna Rymarenko (187-90) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Enea AZS P. in the defeat. Enea AZS P.'s coach Krzysztof Dobrowolski gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Wisla Krakow. They maintain second place with 6-1 record behind leader Artego Bydg. Enea AZS P. lost their sixth game in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with six games lost. Wisla Krakow's next round opponent will be AZS UMCS (#6) in Lublin. Enea AZS P. will play on the road against Sleza Wroclaw (#3) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
