No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked UB Chartres (4-2) defeated at home 17th ranked Orchesien BC (1-5) 97-83 on Saturday. UB Chartres made 24-of-29 free shots (82.8 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Will Felder (201-91, college: Miami, OH, agency: Inception Sports) who scored 21 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Olivier Romain (180-88) chipped in 8 points, 5 rebounds and 14 assists. UB Chartres' coach Sebastien Lambert allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward TJ Robinson (203-89, college: Long Beach St.) who recorded 24 points and 9 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Doug Herring-Jr (191-87, college: Utica) added 10 points and 9 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. UB Chartres moved-up to third place, which they share with 5 other teams. Loser Orchesien BC dropped to the sixteenth position with five games lost. UB Chartres will face bottom-ranked CFBB (#18) in Paris in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Orchesien BC will play at home against Lorient and hope to win that game.
