Regular Season Round 11: Hokkaido L. - Tochigi Brex 76-87

There was a minor upset when 4th placed Hokkaido L. (7-4) lost to sixth ranked Tochigi Brex (3-8) in Saporro 76-87 on Saturday. American power forward Ryan Rossiter (204-89, college: Siena) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points and 7 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Cedric Bozeman (198-83, college: UCLA) contributed with 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Canadian-Italian power forward Marc Trasolini (206-90, college: Santa Clara) answered with 21 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and American center Daniel Miller (211-91, college: Georgia Tech) added 9 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Hokkaido L.Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains sixth place with 3-8 record, which they share with Osaka Evessa. Loser Hokkaido L. still keeps top position with four games lost. Tochigi Brex will face league's second-placed Chiba Jets at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Hokkaido L. will play against the league's leader Ryukyu GK in Okinawa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
