Very expected game in Dublin where 10th ranked DCU Saints (2-5) were crushed by second ranked UCD Marian (5-1) 104-80 on Saturday. UCD Marian made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. UCD Marian looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American guard Mike Garrow (193-91, college: E.Connecticut) scored 27 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and the former international point guard Conor Meany (185-86) chipped in 26 points during the contest. Five UCD Marian players scored in double figures.
