Regular Season Round 6: Aubenas - RAC Basket 69-83

Very expected game when 14th ranked Aubenas (1-5) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Rueil (4-2) 83-69 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was American center Kyle Tresnak (208-92, college: Weber St.) who scored 20 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Jeremy Bichard (186-90) chipped in 18 points and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was naturalized Cameroonian forward Michel Ipouck (200-86) who recorded 10 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Jonathan Leria (198-90) added 18 points respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Rueil moved-up to third place, which they share with 5 other teams. Aubenas lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixteenth position with five games lost. Rueil will face league's leader Gries/Oberhoffen in Bischwiller in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Aubenas will play on the road against the league's second-placed Saint Vallier (#2) and hope to win that game.
