Regular Season Round 7: Yamanashi QB - Toyota B SR 67-78

Bottom-ranked Yamanashi QB is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their seventh consecutive match to tenth ranked Toyota B SR (3-4) 78-67. It looked good early as Yamanashi QB took a 2-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Toyota B SR had a 25-13 second period charge getting the lead and Yamanashi QB was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 67-78. Power forward Sari Osabe (174-87) fired a double-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Yui Kawahara (169-91) chipped in 13 points. Forward Misa Yokoi (170-88) produced 17 points and 8 rebounds and forward Saki Iijima (172-92) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Yamanashi QB's coach tested thirteen players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Toyota B SR moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Aishin AW and Hitachi Cougars. Yamanashi QB lost their seventh game in a row. They still close the standings with seven games lost. Toyota B SR will have a break next round. Yamanashi QB will play again at home against Toyota B SR (#8) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
