Bottom-ranked Kymis is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fourth consecutive match to tenth ranked G.Larissa-Faros (2-2) 71-70. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Kymis won third quarter 23-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Kymis 37-23 including a 30-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. The former international guard Emmanouil Papamakarios (192-80) fired 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. American guard Kevin Ware (188-93, college: Georgia St.) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. American guard Cameron Jones (193-89, college: N.Arizona) produced 11 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Sotirios Manolopoulos (208-87) added 14 points respectively for lost side. Four Kymis players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. G.Larissa-Faros moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Kymis at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. G.Larissa-Faros' next round opponent will be Aiolos Trikallon (#9) in Trikala. Kymis will play on the road against Promitheas (#4) in Patras and hopes to get finally their first victory.
