Very expected game when 7th ranked Faenza (2-3) was defeated on the road by second ranked Piacenza (4-1) 74-69 on Saturday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Piacenza forced 20 Faenza turnovers. Faenza was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Rodolfo Rombaldoni (193-77, agency: Players Group) who scored 16 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Naturalized Argentinian point guard Nicolas Stanic (180-84, agency: Players Group) chipped in 14 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Four Piacenza players scored in double figures. Faenza's coach Marco Regazzi let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Piacenza have a solid series of three victories in a row.
