Regular Season Round 6: Prat - Coruna 75-60

No shocking result in a game when third ranked CB Prat (5-1) beat at home 17th ranked Leyma Basquet (1-4) 75-60. It looked good early as Leyma Basquet took a 1-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then CB Prat had a 22-10 second period charge getting the lead and Leyma Basquet was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 60-75. They outrebounded Leyma Basquet 41-29 including 30 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Canadian-Nigerian guard Caleb Agada (193-94, college: Ottawa, agency: Blacktop Management) who scored 17 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Point guard Josep Perez (184-94) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Jorge Sanz (188-93) who recorded 8 points and 6 rebounds and naturalized Russian power forward Dmitriy Flis (204-84) added 13 points respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. CB Prat have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Manresa. Leyma Basquet lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventeenth position with four games lost. CB Prat's next round opponent will be Oviedo CB (#5) on the road. Leyma Basquet will play against Lleida Basquet (#7) and hope to win that game.
