Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Rieker KN (3-4) and Handlova (2-5), which took place in Handlova. 6th ranked Rieker KN lost to ninth ranked Handlova in a road game 75-92. Handlova forced 21 Rieker KN turnovers. Strangely Rieker KN outrebounded Handlova 37-22 including 23 on the defensive glass. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Handlova moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Nova Ves and Karlovka. Rieker KN at the other side keeps the sixth position with four games lost. Handlova will play against Karlovka (#8) in Bratislava in the next round. Rieker KN will play on the road against Zilina and hopes to get back on the winning track.
