Regular Season Round 7: Bourg - Cholet 76-77

A very close game took place in Bourg between Cholet Basket and JL Bourg. Seventeenth ranked Cholet Basket (2-5) got a very close victory on the road over 4th placed JL Bourg (4-3). Cholet Basket managed to escape with a 1-point win 77-76 on Saturday evening. The guests trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 18-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game. JL Bourg's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Cholet Basket moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Antibes and Paris-Levallois. Newly promoted JL Bourg dropped to the sixth position with three games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. Cholet Basket will meet at home higher ranked Limoges CSP Elite (#11) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. JL Bourg will play against Chalon/Saor (#18) and hope to secure a win.
