Regular Season Round 7: JX-Eneos S. - Haneda Vickies 111-50

WJBL top team - JX-Eneos S. (7-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed ninth ranked Haneda Vickies (2-5) in Kashiwa 111-50. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Haneda Vickies. The game without a history. JX-Eneos S. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. JX-Eneos S. forced 21 Haneda Vickies turnovers and outrebounded them 49-29 including a 21-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. JX-Eneos S. looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Haneda Vickies' players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when JX-Eneos S. made 12 blocks. It was a quality performance for the former international power forward Ramu Tokashiki (191-91) who led the winners and scored 9 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks. International forward Yuki Miyazawa (181-93, college: Queens, NY) accounted for 24 points for the winning side. Guard Nanoko Motohashi (164-93) came up with 10 points and 4 assists and forward Senami Akimoto (178-92) added 10 points respectively for Haneda Vickies in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. JX-Eneos S. have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 7-0 record. Loser Haneda Vickies dropped to the tenth position with five games lost. JX-Eneos S. will again meet Haneda Vickies (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Haneda Vickies will have a break next round.
