Regular Season Round 8: Asker Aliens - Fyllingen BBK 117-66

BLNO top team - Asker Aliens (8-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Fyllingen BBK (4-4) 117-66. The game without a history. Asker Aliens led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Asker Aliens outrebounded Fyllingen BBK 45-28 including 18 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 35 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Fyllingen BBK's players. Worth to mention a quality performance of American guard Torgrim Sommerfeldt (198-89, college: Manhattan) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Stian Berg (187-91, college: Nova SE, agency: Dynamics Global Management) who added 17 points and 9 assists during the contest. Berg is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Asker Aliens players scored in double figures. Asker Aliens' coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Serbian guard Ognjen Nisavic (195-92) responded with 22 points and 4 assists and American-Nigerian forward Patrick Onwenu (198-93, college: Alcorn St.) scored 22 points and 6 rebounds. Asker Aliens have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 8-0 record. Fyllingen BBK lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the sixth place with four games lost. They share the position with Tromso. Asker Aliens will play against Nidaros Jets (#8) in Tromdheim in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Fyllingen BBK will play at home against the league's second-placed Froya Basket and hopes to get back on the winning track.
