Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eighth ranked Jamtland II and 9th ranked KFUM Uppsala had identical 1-3 record. But KFUM Uppsala was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Ostersund 81-68 on Sunday night. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 81-68. Jamtland II made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. It was a good game for forward Daniel Johansson (198-98) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds. Forward Oliver Gehrke (200-0) contributed with 12 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Guard Samuel-Eliasson Godonou (185-93) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 18 rebounds and swingman Alan Zekovic (195-98, agency: Interperformances) added 21 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for KFUM Uppsala. Five Jamtland II and four KFUM Uppsala players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Jamtland II (2-3) moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Haga BG. Loser KFUM Uppsala dropped to the tenth position with four games lost. Jamtland II will face KFUM Central (#7) in Stockholm in the next round. KFUM Uppsala will play on the road against Sundsvall and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
