Very expected game when 9th ranked Lugo (2-3) was defeated on the road by leader Cento (5-0) 77-65 on Sunday. Cento outrebounded Lugo 48-32 including a 19-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Lugo was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was center Giorgio Piunti (205-90) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. Swingman Nelson Rizzitiello (198-84) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. Four Cento players scored in double figures. Samuele Moretti (197-98, agency: Octagon Europe) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Matteo Seravalli (184-91) added 15 points and 8 assists respectively for the guests. Cento have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place in B with 5-0 record. Newly promoted Lugo dropped to the tenth position with three games lost.
