Regular Season Round 6: Nacka Basket - KFUM Lidingo 85-64

Very important is a road loss of third ranked KFUM Lidingo (3-2) against fourth ranked Nacka Basket (4-1) on Sunday night. Visiting KFUM Lidingo was crushed by Nacka Basket in 85-64. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of KFUM Lidingo. It was a key game for the second position in the league. The game without a history. Nacka Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Nacka Basket forced 23 KFUM Lidingo turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. Point guard Caleb Musie (175-95) scored 22 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Basem Abdulkader (180-94) chipped in 18 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists and 7 steals during the contest. The best for the losing side was Serigne-Modou Thioune (-88) with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists and guard John Sundkvist (185-93) scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. KFUM Lidingo's coach Johan Larson gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Nacka Basket have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Eskilstuna. KFUM Lidingo at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the fifth position with two games lost. They share it with BG Lulea and KFUM Central. Nacka Basket will play against AIK II (#12) in Solna in the next round and are hoping to win another game. KFUM Lidingo will play on the road against Taby Basket (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
