F.Kontatto BO (4-1) recorded its first loss on the court of leader Alma Trieste on Sunday night. Visitors were rolled over by Alma Trieste 99-74. The best player for the winners was American guard Javonte Green (193-93, college: Radford, agency: Duran International) who scored 27 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Matteo Da-Ros (204-89) chipped in 8 points and 9 rebounds. Four Alma Trieste players scored in double figures. Swingman Alessandro Amici (200-91) produced 8 points and 8 rebounds and the former international forward Stefano Mancinelli (204-83) added 9 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Alma Trieste maintains second place in A2 with 5-0 record despite having the same number of points like the leader Novipiu Casale. F.Kontatto BO at the other side keeps the third position with one game lost. Alma Trieste are looking forward to face league's leader Orasi Ravenna on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. F.Kontatto BO will play against Tezenis Verona and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
