We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 11th ranked Catanzaro (2-3) was edged on the road by twelfth ranked Roma Tiber (2-2) 107-104 on Sunday. Roma Tiber forced 20 Catanzaro turnovers. The best player for the winners was forward Federico Ridolfi (195-94, agency: SPORTlab Agency) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds. Point guard Filippo Bertoldo (180-89) chipped in 23 points. Roma Tiber's coach Marco Polidori used entire bench in such tough game. Argentinian guard Nicolas Morici (192-94, agency: Octagon Europe) produced a double-double by scoring 25 points, 13 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals and guard Pasquale Battaglia (188-93) added 18 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Four Roma Tiber and five Catanzaro players scored in double figures. Roma Tiber moved-up to tenth place in B which they share with defeated Catanzaro. Loser Catanzaro dropped to the tenth position with three games lost. Roma Tiber will face Patti (#16) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
