Regular Season Round 6: BG Lulea - KFUM Fryshuset 72-66

The most surprising game was the first loss of KFUM Fryshuset (3-1) on the court of seventh ranked BG Lulea on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by BG Lulea 72-66. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of KFUM Fryshuset. The hosts trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 26-15 charge, which allowed them to win the game. BG Lulea forced 28 KFUM Fryshuset turnovers. Strangely KFUM Fryshuset outrebounded BG Lulea 42-28 including a 31-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a good game for guard Simon Finden (190-0) who led his team to a victory with 22 points and 5 assists. Point guard David Hook (185-99) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. BG Lulea's coach Fredrik Joulamo used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Leo Lightner (190-96) replied with 20 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Felix Lemetti (185-99, college: High School) added 16 points and 4 assists in the effort for KFUM Fryshuset. Four KFUM Fryshuset players scored in double figures. BG Lulea (3-2) moved-up to fifth place, which they share with KFUM Lidingo and KFUM Central. KFUM Fryshuset at the other side dropped to the third position with one game lost. They share it with Norrort and RIG Mark. BG Lulea will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. KFUM Fryshuset will play at home against the league's leader KFUM Blackeberg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
