Regular Season Round 5: TuNMKY - ToPo 86-92

Undefeated TuNMKY (5-1) recorded its first loss in Turun. Hosts were defeated by leader ToPo (5-0) 92-86. It was a key game for the second position in Division. TuNMKY was ahead by 4 points at the halftime before a 51-41 second half run of ToPo. They also forced 21 TuNMKY turnovers. American forward Milton Jennings (206-90, college: Clemson) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds. Swingman Juuso Kauppinen (188-94) contributed with 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Guard Eero Innamaa (188-98) answered with 24 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and center Mikael Sandberg (210-91) added 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for TuNMKY. Four ToPo and five TuNMKY players scored in double figures. ToPo moved-up to second place in Division. TuNMKY at the other side dropped to the third position with one game lost. ToPo's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Helsinki HBA-Marsky.
