Undefeated leader Glanmire delivered the fourth consecutive victory. This time they crushed bottom-ranked P.Panthers (0-5) 94-54 in Cork. Glanmire dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to P.Panthers' 40 and made 17-of-21 charity shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Glanmire forced 21 P.Panthers turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Grainne Dwyer (182-84) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 6 rebounds. Alexis Eccles contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Glanmire players scored in double figures. Swingman Maeve Phelan (175-0) replied with 22 points and 4 steals and Stephanie Poland added 10 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for P.Panthers. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Glanmire have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-0 record, which they share with Liffey Celtics. P.Panthers at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. They share the position with NUIG Mystics. Glanmire will play against DCU Mercy (#5) in Dublin in the next round. P.Panthers will have a break next round.
