Regular Season Round 4: Kastoria - Holargos 76-73

First defeat of league's leader Holargos (3-1) against eleventh ranked Kastoria (2-2) 76-73 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Holargos. The hosts trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 19-8 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Kastoria dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Holargos' 26. 24 personal fouls committed by Holargos helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Holargos' coach Stergios Koufos rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Kastoria moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 7 other teams. Holargos at the other side dropped to the second position with one game lost. They share it with Iraklis and Marousi. They were replaced at the leadership position by Peristeri GS. Holargos will play next round against Amyntas Dafnis trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Kastoria will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Iraklis in Thessaloniki.
