Regular Season Round 7: Limoges - Pau-Lacq-Orthez 71-82

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Pau-Lacq-Orthez (5-2) beat on the road 10th ranked Limoges CSP Elite (3-4) 82-71 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Pau-Lacq-Orthez. Limoges CSP Elite was better in third quarter 18-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Pau-Lacq-Orthez looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American players dominated the game. It was a very good performance for forward Ken Horton (199-89, college: Cent.Conn.St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Kyan Anderson (180-92, college: TCU, agency: Pensack Sports) contributed with 12 points and 6 assists for the winners. Five Pau-Lacq-Orthez players scored in double figures. Point guard Kenny Hayes (186-87, college: Miami, OH, agency: BeoBasket) answered with 23 points and forward Josh Carter (201-88, college: Texas A&M) added 13 points in the effort for Limoges CSP Elite. Limoges CSP Elite's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Pau-Lacq-Orthez moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Limoges CSP Elite dropped to the eleventh position with four games lost. Pau-Lacq-Orthez will face JDA Dijon (#7) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Limoges CSP Elite will play against Cholet Basket (#15) and hope to win that game.
