They outrebounded B.Yehuda 50-25 including a 37-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by B.Yehuda's players. The winners were led by Nigerian-American forward Atonye Nyingifa (180-90, college: UCLA) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 21 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists and American point guard Sydney Colson (172-89, college: Texas A&M, agency: LBM Management) supported her with 17 points and 9 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Four Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion players scored in double figures. Even 24 points and 8 rebounds by American forward Taylor Manuel (193-93, college: Mississippi) did not help to save the game for B.Yehuda. Her fellow American import forward Sequoia Holmes (183-86, college: UNLV) added 12 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. B.Yehuda's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion (1-3) left bottom position moving up to seventh place, which they share with Ramat Hasharon and Bnot Hertzeliya. It was B.Yehuda's fourth loss in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with four games lost. Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion will meet Ramat Hasharon (#9) on the road in the next round. B.Yehuda will play against Bnot Hertzeliya and hopes to get finally their first victory.
