Regular Season Round 7: Nanterre - Strasbourg 102-100

A very interesting game took place in Nanterre. It ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 11th ranked Strasbourg IG (3-4) to fifth ranked JSF Nanterre (5-2) 102-100 on Monday evening. Host team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. American forward Terran Petteway (198-92, college: Nebraska) fired 22 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Nigerian power forward Alade Aminu (207-87, college: Georgia Tech, agency: 3Eye) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. International power forward Louis Labeyrie (208-92) produced 21 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from the field making all ten shots !!!) and American-Polish guard David Logan (185-82, college: Indianapolis) added 23 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. JSF Nanterre have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. Strasbourg IG at the other side keeps the eleventh position with four games lost. JSF Nanterre's next round opponent will be Hyeres-Toulon (#9) on the road and are hoping to win another game. Strasbourg IG will play against Gravelines-Dunkerque and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
