Regular Season Round 5: Kalev/Cramo - Valga 97-73

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Valga (4-1) in Tallinn on Tuesday night. Visitors were rolled over by Kalev/Cramo (5-0) 97-73. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Valga. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game was mostly controlled by Kalev/Cramo. Valga managed to win fourth quarter 27-26. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kalev/Cramo's coach Alar Varrak felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Roberts Freimanis (204-91, college: BS Liepaja) produced 16 points and 8 rebounds and guard Kristaps Miglinieks (196-90) added 17 points respectively for the guests. Kalev/Cramo have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 5-0 record. Valga at the other side keeps the second position with one game lost.
