Regular Season Round 7: Boulogne - Saint-Quentin 64-77

Very predictable result when sixth ranked Saint-Quentin (5-2) won against 11th ranked SO Maritime Boulogne (2-5) in Boulogne-sur-Mer 77-64 on Tuesday. Saint-Quentin forced 19 SO Maritime Boulogne turnovers. Strangely SO Maritime Boulogne outrebounded Saint-Quentin 46-28 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Quite impressive performance for American swingman Daviin Davis (193-85, college: Weber St.) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 6 assists and 5 steals. Lamine Kante (200-87) contributed with 16 points for the winners. American forward Dwight Burke (202-86, college: Marquette, agency: Octagon Europe) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and American-British guard Warren Niles (196-89, college: ORU, agency: Inception Sports) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for SO Maritime Boulogne. SO Maritime Boulogne's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Saint-Quentin moved-up to third place, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser SO Maritime Boulogne dropped to the twelfth position with five games lost. Saint-Quentin will face Brissac-Aubance (#15) in Brissac-Quince in the next round which should be an easy win for them. SO Maritime Boulogne will play on the road against ALS Basket in Andrezieux and hope to win that game.
