The game between fifteenth ranked SAP Vaucluse (3-4) and 13th ranked Lourdes-Tarbes (2-5) in Sorgues on Tuesday ended with biggest points difference. SAP Vaucluse outscored guests from Tarbes 97-56. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Lourdes-Tarbes. SAP Vaucluse dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Lourdes-Tarbes' 34. It was a great shooting night for SAP Vaucluse especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. It was a very good performance for point guard Yann Siegwarth (180-93) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Montenegrin power forward Zarko Rakocevic (204-84, agency: Mansfield and Associates) contributed with 20 points for the winners. Four SAP Vaucluse players scored in double figures. Vincentian-Canadian forward Lien Phillip (203-89) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds and American guard Greg Pryor (188-95, college: Chattanooga, agency: Court Side) added 17 points in the effort for Lourdes-Tarbes. SAP Vaucluse moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Lorient. Loser Lourdes-Tarbes dropped to the twelfth position with five games lost. SAP Vaucluse will face higher ranked UB Chartres (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Lourdes-Tarbes will play against Souffelweyersheim (#9) and hope to win that game.
