Regular Season Round 7: CFBB - Chartres 52-93

Bottom-ranked CFBB is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their seventh consecutive match to third ranked UB Chartres (5-2) 93-52 on Tuesday evening. UB Chartres made 27-of-32 free shots (84.4 percent) during the game, while CFBB only scored nine points from the stripe. UB Chartres forced 22 CFBB turnovers and outrebounded them 41-24 including 29 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Will Felder (201-91, college: Miami, OH, agency: Inception Sports) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds. Anthony Racine (190-94) accounted for 14 points and 4 assists for the winning side. Four UB Chartres players scored in double figures. Center Jean-Marc Pansa (208-98) came up with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks and guard Timothe Crusol (190-1) added 7 points and 4 assists respectively for CFBB in the defeat. CFBB's coach Jean-Aime Toupane gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. UB Chartres maintains third place with 5-2 record having just two points less than leader Saint Vallier, which they share with 4 other teams. CFBB lost their seventh game in a row. They still close the standings with seven games lost. UB Chartres will meet at home SAP Vaucluse (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. CFBB will play against Lorient (#10) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
