Not a big story in a game in Issa Town where 11th ranked Isa Town (1-5) was rolled over by ninth ranked Sitra (3-4) 82-51 on Wednesday. Sitra looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Isa Town's players. The best player for the winners was Nigerian-American center Augustine Okosun (210-86, college: Kaiser) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Iraqi Ali Abdulla chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. Four Sitra players scored in double figures. Mahmood Aziz produced 11 points and 5 rebounds and Mohsen Mahdi added 8 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Sitra moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Al-Riffa and Al-Najma. Isa Town lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with five games lost. Sitra will meet at home higher ranked Al-Muharraq (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Isa Town will play against Samaheej (#13) in Manama and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
