The most interesting game of round 6 was a home defeat of 3rd ranked ViVe (4-2) by second ranked Peli-Karhut (5-1) who outscored them by 18 points 68-50 in the game for the second place. The game without a history. Peli-Karhut led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Peli-Karhut forced 22 ViVe turnovers. Americans were the main players on the court. Guard Daisha Simmons (178-91, college: Seton Hall, agency: Gamble Sports Management) scored 23 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Akilah Sims (178-94, college: IUPUI) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Avyanna Young (185-93, college: Wisconsin) with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds and swingman Pachis Roberts (180-94, college: Georgia) scored 9 points and 8 rebounds. ViVe's coach Jarkko Havu rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Peli-Karhut maintains second position with 5-1 record having just one point less than leader Honka. ViVe at the other side keeps the third place with two games lost. They share the position with Catz. Peli-Karhut are looking forward to face Helmi Basket (#8) in Helsinki in the next round where they are favorite. ViVe will play on the road against Forssan Alku (#6) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
