Regular Season Round 6: USE Basket - Libertas 101-60

Everything went according to plan when eleventh ranked USE Basket (3-3) outplayed bottom-ranked Libertas (0-6) in Empoli 101-60 on Wednesday. USE Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Libertas' 40. USE Basket forced 19 Libertas turnovers and outrebounded them 37-21 including 25 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Libertas' players. It was a good game for forward Gabriele Giarelli (200-93, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory with 16 points, 6 assists and 4 steals (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Gianni Terrosi (191-89, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four USE Basket players scored in double figures.
