Espoo Team has finally registered their first victory this season after five consecutive losses. The win is especially important as it came on the road game in Aanekoski, where they outplayed Aanekosken (1-5) 98-73. The game without a history. Espoo Team led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Espoo Team forced 20 Aanekosken turnovers. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Forward Kamilah Jackson (181-92, college: Hawaii) notched a double-double by scoring 21 points, 20 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and guard Zykira Lewis (173-94, college: Cent.Florida, agency: Two Points) supported her with 21 points and 5 steals. Five Espoo Team players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 29 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists by swingman Jazmine Perkins (178-89, college: Washington St.) did not help to save the game for Aanekosken. Swingman Suriya McGuire (180-91, college: Miami, FL) added 16 points and 13 rebounds. Aanekosken's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Espoo Team left bottom position moving up to ninth place, which they share with Huima. Espoo Team will play against higher ranked Kouvottaret (#7) in Kouvola in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Aanekosken will play on the road against HyPo in Hyvinkaa to get more than just one victory in their record.
