A very close game took place in Njardvik between Njardvik and Valur. Sixth ranked Njardvik (3-2) got a very close home victory over 11th ranked Valur (1-4). Four Valur players scored in double figures. Valur's coach Agust Bjorgvinsson rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Njardvik moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Grindavik. Newly promoted Valur dropped to the tenth position with four games lost. They share it with Thor Thorl. Njardvik will meet Thor AK (#9) in the next round. Valur will play against Stjarnan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
