Regular Season Round 7: Peja - Kerasan 96-76

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th ranked Kerasan's (2-5) road loss to fifth ranked Peja (3-3) 76-96. They shot 67.3 percent from the field. Peja players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. It was an exceptional evening for international Arti Hajdari (190-93) who led the winners and scored 25 points (perfect behind the arc making all five shots). International guard Arian Qallaku (195-92) accounted for 21 points for the winning side. Four Peja players scored in double figures. Forward Gent Shala (197-98) came up with 13 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and Kujtim Ujkani added 15 points respectively for Kerasan in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Peja maintains fifth place with 3-3 record. Kerasan at the other side keeps the sixth position with five games lost. They share it with Borea. Peja will play against bottom-ranked Trepca (#8) in Mitrovice in the next round. Kerasan will play on the road against the league's second-placed Xhebrailat in Therande and hopes to get back on the winning track.
