Dandenong Rangers players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. International forward Sara Blicavs (188-93) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists and 6 steals. Power forward Tayla Roberts (191-93) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. The former international center Abby Bishop (189-88) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and the former international guard Nicole Seekamp (178-92, college: S.Dakota) added 18 points in the effort for Adelaide Lightning. Four Dandenong Rangers and five Adelaide Lightning players scored in double figures. Despite that victory Dandenong Rangers went down to fifth position due to points difference. Adelaide Lightning at the other side keeps the second place with three games lost. They share the position with Townsville. Dandenong Rangers will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Adelaide Lightning will play on the road against Boomers in Melbourne and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
