Undefeated leader Guaros 2 recorded the twelfth consecutive victory. This time they crushed bottom-ranked Atleticos (0-14) 92-68 in Caracas. They outrebounded Atleticos 44-27 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. International forward Luis Bethelmy (200-86) nailed 17 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winning side and forward Jose Martinez (196-82) accounted for 10 points and 8 rebounds. Miguel Blanco came up with 17 points and guard Jean Almeida (186-94) added 11 points respectively for Atleticos in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the twelfth consecutive win for Guaros 2. They maintain first place with 12-0 record. Atleticos lost their fourteenth game in a row. They still close the standings with 14 games lost. Guaros 2's next round opponent will be Aduaneros (#4) in Valencia.
