No shocking result in a game when first ranked Toyota Alvark (12-1) won against on the road 5th ranked Shimane Magic (4-9) 67-60 on Friday. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Alex Kirk (211-91, college: N.Mexico, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import forward Landen Lucas (208-93, college: Kansas, agency: Duran International) who added 7 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American forward Josh Scott (208-93, college: Colorado, agency: Pensack Sports) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Shota Watanabe (180-93) scored 9 points and 4 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Toyota Alvark have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 12-1 record, which they share with SeaHorses. Shimane Magic lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the fourth place with nine games lost. Toyota Alvark will face league's second-placed Chiba Jets on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
