The game in Beirut supposed to be also worth to mention about. 6th ranked Byblos (1-3) played at the court of eighth ranked Beirut Club (2-3). Beirut Club did not have too big problems ending evening with a very confident victory 74-54. The game without a history. Beirut Club led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Beirut Club outrebounded Byblos 52-35 including 19 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was Lithuanian guard Vytautas Sulskis (200-88, college: Youngstown St., agency: Octagon Europe) who scored 26 points and 9 rebounds. The former international forward Bassel Bawji (203-89, college: Tulsa) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds. American swingman SirDominic Pointer (198-92, college: St.John's) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import guard Marcus Hall (185-85, college: Colorado, agency: KMG Sports Management) added 16 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Beirut Club moved-up to sixth place. Byblos lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. Beirut Club's next round opponent will be CS Antonins (#8) on the road. Byblos will play against Sagesse and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
