A very close game took place in Michoacan between Mineros and Aaguacateros. Eighth ranked Mineros (3-3) got a very close victory on the road over 5th ranked Aaguacateros (3-3). Mineros managed to escape with a 1-point win 62-61 in the game for the fourth place. Panamanian center Jaime Lloreda (204-80, college: LSU) notched 23 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and American guard Eric McClellan (193-93, college: Gonzaga, agency: KMG Sports Management) supported him with 10 points and 7 rebounds. Even 16 points and 9 rebounds by American-Puerto Rican Christopher Gaston (201-89, college: Fordham) did not help to save the game for Aaguacateros. Naturalized American guard Martin Samarco (190-85, college: Bowling Green) added 18 points. Mineros moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Aaguacateros.
