Regular Season Round 8: Aubenas - Orchies 75-65

There was a minor upset when 14th ranked Orchesien BC (2-6) was defeated on the road by seventeenth ranked Aubenas (2-6) 75-65 on Saturday. Aubenas made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. Orchesien BC was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Alpha Mbodj (196-90) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 6 rebounds and American guard Larry Williams (191-86, college: Ark.-Pine Bluff) who added 13 points during the contest. American forward TJ Robinson (203-89, college: Long Beach St.) responded with 13 points and 9 rebounds and swingman Joffrey Verbeke (195-87) scored 8 points and 5 rebounds. Aubenas moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Brissac-Aubance and Orchies. Aubenas will face bottom-ranked CFBB (#18) in Paris in the next round.
