Regular Season Round 6: Sokhumi - Rustavi 62-94

The game in Tbilisi supposed to be also worth to mention about. Sixth ranked Energy Invest (3-2) played at the court of 8th ranked Sokhumi (1-5). Energy Invest smashed Sokhumi 94-62. Energy Invest had a 34-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Sokhumi's players. It was a good game for American point guard Adam Blazek (185-92, college: Gannon) who led his team to a victory with 27 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. British center Jack Crook (211-93, college: Seattle) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Five Energy Invest players scored in double figures. Ukrainian center Anatoly Chelovan (208-91, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) replied with 14 points and 8 rebounds and American point guard Kwan Waller (183-89, college: Ky Wesleyan) added 11 points and 4 steals in the effort for Sokhumi. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Energy Invest moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Olimpi. Sokhumi lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with five games lost. Energy Invest's next round opponent will be higher ranked Batumi (#3) on the road and it may be the game of the week. Sokhumi's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tbilisi to the arena Olimpi.
